This week we ushered in Shabbat in a very special, fun and delicious manner! With help and enthusiasm of our new friend Elana, we participated in a workshop on Challah preparation.

Elana Burack is a passionate student from U of Pennsylvania. She is originally from South Carolina, USA, currently spending a semester at the Universidad de Sevilla investigating the history and the current situation of jewish communities in Andalusia.

Elana reminded us all of the remarkable diversity of jewish culture.
